Moody Racing would like to thank all our clients for their continued support of the stable. In our new owners area of the website we aim to give something back to our owners and their horses.
The first month of the new racing season opened well for the stable with some nice young horses notching up their first victories and some of our ever reliable performers continuing on their winning ways, the winners for August were as follows:
Pass Me By, Moondancing, Sheedy, Tan Tat Dancer, Icy Jane, Fairygem, Mossbemad, Jujube, Guild, Queen Of The Falls and La Goulue.

Guild owned by Sarah Moody and Neil Werrett makes it win number 4 with a tough front running perfomance at Moonee Valley on Saturday 23rd August

La Goulue bred and owned by Raheen's Stud Nolan family, gave Luke Nolen his first win since returning to race riding after suffering injuries from a race fall during the Queensland racing carnival, the Danehill Dancer mare won by an impressive 4 lengths.
HORSE PROFILE: DEFINITIVE - the million dollar baby
Definitive (Redoute's Choice x Mascara Magic), has the grand honour of being the stables first million dollar yearling purchase ($NZ1.3M). The stunning colt was bred by Kitchwin Hills and sold as a weanling to Haunui Farm in New Zealand who re-sold him at the New Zealand Premier Sale, an outsanding type with a stallions pedigree being closely related to
Mr Vitality, Rose O'War , Gunnamatta, Citirecruit, Danehill Express etc. Definitve made his debut at Flemington in June over 1410M and ran a cracking 3rd to Tindal. A progressive horse Definitive will take benefit from a Spring campaign and we look forward to seeing even greater things from him in the Autumn.
